RDF offers beginner classes for ages 7-10 in July! The session is 6 days in total – 2 days a week for 3 weeks – Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 15-July 31 – at 6 pm. The class for ages 7-8 is 45 minutes long, and the class for ages 9-10 is 1 hour. Cost is $80, payable by cash, check, or card on the first day of class (Tuesday, July 15). We are located in the lower level of 220 E. 3rd St. in Des Moines.

Fencers should bring a water bottle and wear close-toed athletic shoes (no sandals or crocs).

Youth Beginner Fencing for kids ages 8-12 is Tuesday evenings 5:30-6:30 starting June 5 and running through July 17 (6 weeks, no class July 3).

Teen/Adult Beginner Fencing is Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30 starting June 6 and runs through July 18 (6 weeks, no class July 4).

Cost is $60 and all equipment is provided.

Registration for our first Youth Beginner Fencing and Teen/Adult Beginner Fencing classes of 2017 is now available! Have fun, make friends, and learn a new sport! Both 6-week sessions start the 2nd week in January:

Kids ages 8-12 meet 5:30-6:30 on Tuesday evenings starting Jan. 10.

Teenagers and adults meet 7-8 on Wednesday evenings starting Jan. 11.

Our next Youth Beginner Fencing class starts Tuesday, Nov. 1! Learn a new sport, make friends, have fun! The 6-week class meets Tuesdays through Dec. 6.
